User Support Services (USS) is responsible for all end user client devices, training, the college LMS (Blackboard), academic computing including walk-in labs and instructional classrooms, and the college Helpdesk.

8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
The Help Center is a single point of contact for information and assistance with classroom, desktop, network and telephone technologies. The Help Center also provides audiovisual service and support for the campus. To report problems with classroom and desktop equipment, telephones, Internet connectivity, etc., or to ask questions about technology on campus, call the Help Center at 456-8803 (on campus, Ext 8803) or email helpdesk@ric.edu.
Rhode Island College has participated in the Microsoft Campus Agreement since 2001. At which time the college became the first institution of higher education in Rhode Island to provide its faculty, staff, and students the opportunity to download the Microsoft Office Suite for free on up to 5 machines. Audiovisual is a function of the Help Center that provides instructional support service with a full range of instructional media and related services for faculty, staff, and students.
